Mobile Medical Diagnostics are an Irish owned and operated company that provide a high quality service to clients in to primary care centres, nursing homes hospitals and healthcare providers nationwide.

We are the only fully licensed mobile radiology service in Ireland. Our mantra is moving equipment not patients and our mission is to bring quality care and diagnostics to communities in a clinically compliant manner.

2018

Granted the first and only mobile x-ray license to operate the service to nursing home residents in Ireland. The first-ever bedside x-ray in an Irish nursing home was taken.

The EPA license was extended to provide the service in private houses, a first in Europe.

2019

After receiving a license to provide a mobile x-ray service at public events, we successfully provided the first mobile x-ray service at an event in Ireland, Electric Picnic. This significantly reduced the burden on the local hospitals. Over the weekend, we performed 55 on-site x-ray examinations.

2020

1000+ mobile x-rays performed in 40 nursing homes across Dublin and the surrounding counties.

The HSE’s innovation team invite Mobile Medical Diagnostics to the Digital Innovation Programme.

2021

New personnel added to the leadership team, including Paul Flynn as CEO, Fergus Clancy as Chairman, Prof Dermot Power and Dr Eamonn Brazil as medical consultants and Sean Tierney as Director.

We launch our flexible x-ray department service to primary care centres.

2023

Following a successful pilot scheme, the HSE tendered for services nationally and MMD were the successful vendors.

Opened our 1st Primary Care Centre site in Ennis, Co. Clare

2024

Completed national roll-out of mobile x-ray service in partnership with the HSE. The service is available in every county in Ireland.

Opened our 2nd Primary Care Centre site in Mallow, Co. Cork
